March is my birth month, so it is obviously the best month of the year! It was also a month full of favourites! From beauty products, fitness regimes, to complete random things, March had it all going on!
Keep reading if you would like to see the skincare, makeup and random things I have been loving this month!
- Dr Brandt ~ Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner ~ $75 AUD
This mask was so good for getting rid of annoying blackheads in just one application! It also helped with removing white heads but I found you had to use the mask about 3 times for the white head to be completely gone.
The product is clear on application but immediately starts drying and turning a light blue colour as you can see in the below images. Leave until completely dry and blue or until desired. Make sure skin is thoroughly cleansed first or else it will not be as effective.

2. Charlotte Tilbury Magic Night Cream ~ $185 AUD
This night cream is soooo luxurious! It even feels luxe when you are putting it on. Charlotte has definitely created another amazing product. How could we expect anything less from her?
The cream has a honey-like texture that melts into your face as it heats up from the warmth of your skin. It never really sinks completely in which is a bit annoying when it comes to bed time, as if you are a stomach or side sleeper, like me, your face sticks to the pillow.
But the results when you wake up, definitely overshadow the stickiness. My skin literally looks like it is glowing from within (a theme of most of Charlotte’s products perhaps?), it is so hydrated and I can see a reduction in the amount of redness in my skin. It probably has something to do with the myriad of nutrients packed into the most beautiful, old-hollywood looking jar!
I have really temperamental skin so I go between having dry/sensitive skin to oily/sensitive skin (my theory on this is that it overproduces oil when I’m not using hydrating or rich enough products). This product has left me feeling hydrated, well-rested and reduced the oil my skin produces throughout the day.
One thing I am not crazy about, is that the writing on the pot is starting to rub off! It doesn’t look as pretty anymore 😦
If you have the dough, get this product!

3. Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat ~ Pillow Talk ~ $35 AUD
Now I’m probably going to sound silly saying this but it is soo true! This Lip liner is literally the colour of your lips but better! It’s more on the pink side but they are the type of nudes I think suit my skin tone the best. Anything too brown makes me look ill which is the same for anything too pale. I don’t really need any help in the pale department!
It is a very creamy texture on application and drys quite quickly to leave a matte line perfect for cheating the shape or size of your lips or to avoid your lipstick from bleeding. I’ve been wearing this all over my lips, just on its own giving me a natural-looking matte lip.
It has been such a favourite this month, probably because it is so comfortable to wear, lasts all day, does not transfer onto anything without drying my lips. I am of the habit of prepping my lips prior to any makeup application so this could also have something to do with the minimal drying affect of Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Cheat.

4. Bobbi Brown ~ Mini Cream Shadow Sticks in Sunlight Gold & Matte Brown ~ $45 each (Full size) AUD
I loved wearing these cream shadow stick just smudged over my lid. Sunlight gold all over and Bittersweet just through the crease.
I found these products very blendable and so easy to use with my fingers. If I was ever in rush to do my makeup these were my go to products!
As the name suggests, these shadows were very long wearing. I could put these on at 7am and be perfect with no creasing until I had a shower at 8pm that night. They even stayed put through a high intensive cardio session.
The fact that they were wind up also impacted the appeal of this product. I am essentially a very lazy person, so when all I need as my finger and to wind it up, it makes me very happy. Priorities?
Now these two colours were included in a 4 pack where Bittersweet was a Limited Edition colour, however, other Bobbi Brown colours Bark or Rich Caviar (New Colour) are comparable and would give a similar effect. Unfortunately, the mini 4 pack is no longer available but I loved the fomula of these products so much I am definitily buying a full sized one in a different colour or even multiple.

5. L’Oreal ~ Miss Manga Mega Volume Mascara ~ $21.95 AUD
Such an amazing Mascara! It really does give you ‘Mega Volume’ without clumping your lashes.
I love this for everyday when I’m going for a more natural makeup look but still want lots of oomph on my lashes. I apply like 3 coats and literally have a false-lash effect – much like the Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes.
As I am a contacts wearer, the amount of fall-out on a mascara is super important to me. I can’t have mascara falling into my eyes and disrupting my vision. Good news – there has limited, if not any fall-out! Plus it is ridiculously black!
This is currently my favourite drugstore mascara and often when I buy it, there is a sale on at the drugstore so it’s such a steal! Everyone loves a bargain don’t they?

6. Models Prefer ~ Radiance Collection Powder Palette ~ $12.99 AUD
I am still kinda blow away by this product and how good it is! An Australian affordable product range that I really had not heard much about. Tbh, I had low expectations.
Drugstore highlights tend to be to chalky or glittery on the face and look like you have literally chucked glitter on yourself. This gave me a subtle shimmer and the buttery textured blended seamlessly into my foundation. If you’re more of high impact highlight kinda person, this product is also really buildable!
I just love the colours as well! The champagne colour (first from left) is my favourite for the inner corner of my eyes and cupids bow. If I’m feeling like going sans blush the pink colour is almost a two in one and great for the top of the cheek bones. the third colour i have been using more as an eyeshadow than a highlighter just as i think it is a bight orange for my very pale skin tone.
Overall, I am obsessed with this product and trying out more the range!

7. Meghan Trainor – NO
Such as great song to get ready to! Especially for a night out with your gurrrrrrlfriends.
I had this song on repeat for a whole day in march! If that doesn’t scream “Favourites Material” I don’t know what does?
